The one who is desperate for wealth ,pleasure or fame will go at a length ( depending on the severity of desperation) to obtain it; including entertaining those so desperate for intimacy that they are more that willing to go at a length ( depending on the severity of desperation) to obtain even the illusion of intimacy.
The one seeking “intimacy” will seek one who will provide it and the ones who will provide this “ intimacy” are the ones who are seeking wealth ,pleasure or fame. This is an insatiable cycle of severely damaging and uncontrolled consequences.
